I took a walk this morning and had a chance to visit with my mom. She's in the hospital right now going through some very serious medical issues so it was so nice to get a chance to talk to her before her room filled back up with friends and family and medical staff. Physically, I'm a long ways away but in my heart I'm right there with her and my dad.
