Chinese Pork and Noodles

A family favorite around here

Chinese Pork
Pork tenderloin
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup cooking sherry
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp ginger
a dash of garlic powder
6 tbsp hoisin sauce
4 tsp salt
1 tbsp soy sauce
red food coloring

Marinate overnight
Roast for 15 minutes @ 450 degrees
then reduce temperature to 325 and continue roasting for 1 1/2 hours.

Once it's cooked place meat in the fridge to set the meat. Once it's chilled it's much easier to cut. We serve this with spaghetti noodles cooked and then added to chicken broth to make a soup. The chilled chinese pork sliced and served on top. Garnish with green onions and a hard boiled egg and a dash of soy sauce.
